Where should I store my coffee?
Freezing locks in the flavor and minimizes any loss of taste.
Just like secrets, coffee is best stored in a cool, dark, dry place, like a pantry cupboard (or an underground bunker, if you have one on hand). We don’t recommend storing it in the fridge, as that will degrade the beans on a cellular level — which results in crummy-tasting coffee.
However, we heartily encourage you to freeze coffee if you’re not going to be able to enjoy it within two weeks of its roast date. Freezing locks in the flavor and minimizes any loss of taste.
